We had a terrific nursery event with 99 volunteers from City of Irvine High School’s Youth Action Team, IKPAVC, Orange County School of the Arts, Northwood High School, La Quinta Ecology Club, Mater Dei High School, National Charity League, and UCI’s Pre-dental Society. Tasks completed include upsizing 468 starts into one galllon containers; started 960 seedings; moved stock from the greenhouse to outside growing area; upsized 30 one galllon trees into 15 gallon containers; upsized 15 15 gallon trees into 24″ box trees; and weeded, raked and pruned pots.
