Shadetree Partnership

We had a terrific day at the nursery with 77 volunteers. Groups included the City of Irvine’s High School Youth Action Team, the Orange County School of the Arts, Gelato Paradiso, IKPA, National Charity League, Boy Scout Troop 695 and other interested individuals.  Tasks included upsizing stock, raking leaves, weeding shrubs and trees, moving stock from the greenhouses into the growing area. among other tasks.  In addition, a Eagle Scouts project was completed by Anthony of Troop 695 where Shadetree is delighted to have a new reception Kiosk where staff can greet volunteers and also keep our supplies.
