Volunteers from IKPAVC, Stanbridge University, UCI, Irvine High, Portola High, and others joined us for another beautiful Saturday at Shadetree Nursery! Tasks included upsizing 4-inch salvia plants to 5- gallon containers, hand weeding and removing tree suckers from the trees in all the tree rows, adding bamboo tree stacks to new trees, moving newly propagated rosemary plants from a greenhouse to a growing table, and pruning newly acquired white iceberg roses and strawberry trees. Volunteers also completed building 4 new hose reel stands!
