Volunteers from IKPAVC, UCI American Red Cross, and others joined us for Saturday’s nursery event. Tasks included upsizing the remainder of the rescued Christmas trees and plants to 5-gallon and 15-gallon containers and moving them to a tree row, assembling new tables from recycled pallet racks, propagating Echeveria Opalina and Coppertone Stonecrop succulents into containers, hand-weeding at the tables and growing areas, and spreading new pea gravel where the new tables will be placed.
