While the nursery was closed for volunteer events during the month of September, Shadetree “Adopt-A-Row” Program volunteers worked hard to keep the nursery maintained. Program participants dedicate a minimum of 8 hours per month, committing to at least one year of service. They are trained to learn how to intuitively know what needs to be performed to keep the plants and trees healthy and maintained, not just in their “row”, but throughout the entire nursery.
