Students at Santiago STEAM Magnet Elementary School participated in planting and watering plants donated by Shadetree Partnership. The plants were planted around the school during school hours so the kids got to see the process. There were lots of questions and excited helpers! A line spontaneously formed during recess with kids all wanting to take a turn at digging, and another group traded their reward tickets for a chance to water the trees.
