Volunteers from the Irvine Korean Parents Association & Volunteer Committee, National Charity League Monarch Chapter, Tau Beta Pi at UC Irvine, Stanbridge University, TriBeta at Concordia University, and students from Corona del Mar High and TVT Schools joined us at Saturday’s nursery event. Tasks included propagating 340 Carolina Cherry Laurel tree cuttings, 200 Coast Live Oak acorns, 200 Jacaranda tree seeds, and 200 Hong Kong Orchid seeds, as well as clean up along the fence line, hand weeding at tables, removing rotted wood at a table in preparation for new wood, and installing bamboo stakes at Desert Willow and Valley Oak trees.
