Thank you to all the volunteers from the Irvine Korean Parents Association and Volunteer Committee, Concordia University’s TriBeta Biological Honors Society, Irvine High’s SOL Club, National Charity League’s Vista Irvine Chapter, Corona Del Mar High, UCI’s Bee/Tree Campus, and Aliso Viejo Middle School who attended Saturday’s nursery event! Volunteers helped replant Pink Trumpet trees; propagate over 400 Vinca Minor Periwinkle cuttings, over 400 Coast Live Oak tree acorns, and over 270 Acacia Gold Medallion tree seeds; helped remove irrigation at tree rows and replace old weed fabric, hand weed at the tables, cut back overgrown vegetation, and assisted with various paint touch-up jobs around the nursery.
