Shadetree welcomed volunteers from Irvine Korean Parents Association & Volunteer Committee, UCI Pre-Dental Society, Concordia University, NCL Irvine and Monarch Chapters, Calvary Chapel High School, and Irvine High School’s SOL Club. Tasks included raking leaf debris throughout the nursery, hand weeding at all tables, upsizing 1-gallon Lantana and Acacia Low Boy plants to 5-gallon containers, sweeping off rocks from weed fabric, continuing to re-construction Table 4, preparing soil mix, and repainting the yellow safety marker at the entrance.
